Liberty continues its 150th anniversary celebrations with its fashion and accessories collection for AW25, debuting a series of new designs spanning apparel, bags, and silk accessories launching this September ‘25.

Inspired by the archival works on show at the I Am. We Are. Liberty. Exhibition at the Regent Street flagship, Liberty announces a new collection of fabrics in celebration of 150 years

LIBERTY LAUNCHES I AM. WE ARE. LIBERTY. FASHION FABRICS COLLECTION 

Appley Pearl, rooted in heritage, was first created as a silk fabric for menswear in 1958. This design echoes the delicate pearl jewellery often seen in historical Tudor portraiture, while forming a poignant link to Liberty’s iconic Tudor-inspired store. Christobel Poppy, epitomising the stylistic hallmarks of the 1960s Art Nouveau revival, was inspired by a 1900s design attributed to British artist and designer Harry Napper and was produced as both a dress fabric and a scarf between 1959 and 1981. Deco Tapestry, comprising a richly layered tapestry of geometric blocks, draws inspiration from the bold forms of the Art Deco era. This hand-painted design was originally created for Liberty in the 1920s.

Marking Liberty’s 150-year anniversary, the exhibition shines a light on the creative spirit and wide-ranging cultural influences that have shaped and contributed to the retailer and design house since its foundation in 1875.

In celebration of the design house’s 150th Anniversary this year, Liberty unveils its newest apparel and accessories collections. A milestone honouring the brand’s legacy in design, craftsmanship, and creativity, the new seasonal collections draw inspiration from iconic prints sourced from Liberty’s extensive archive, reimagined to create an elevated modern-day curation that speaks a story of the brand’s creative community on the Liberty stage.
